Loretta Sanchez unloads on President Obama for endorsing her rival for Senate

Orange County congresswoman Loretta Sanchez let loose on resident Obama for endorsing her rival in California’s U.S. Senate race, accusing him of being part of the “entrenched political establishment” that has failed California voters.

Obama and Vice President Joe Biden announced their support for U.S. Senate candidate Kamala Harris early Tuesday morning, praising her record as California’s attorney general and a prosecutor. Harris has been a longtime political ally of the resident.

Sanchez said she was “disappointed” that Obama would intervene in a Senate race between two Democrats,

...

I believe that California voters are deeply concerned about the entrenched political establishment which has failed to work for them. Yet, it has been clear for some time that the same political establishment would rather have a coronation instead of an election for California's next U.S. Senator,” Sanchez said

...

Sanchez also criticized Harris’ role in the nationwide $25-billion mortgage settlement with five major financial institutions for improper foreclosure practices during the recent housing market crash.

Sorry, Loretta, but your minority status is inferior to “Kamala’s” minority status. You’ve been a Dim long enough to know the pecking order, so don’t try to sound hurt about being thrown under the bus.

The State of California changed our system to have a Louisiana-style (runoff) system, so only the top two candidates (from any party) are left standing. This is exactly why both Harris and Sanchez ran, to knock out the Republican candidate. And now they are infighting. Figures. Our choices are a racist black demagogue socialist vs. just slightly more centrist racist Hispanic socialist. Yay for California!

Of the two, Harris is the more dangerous to our freedoms. So, rather than not vote, I will be voting for Sanchez as the lesser of two evils, and I hope that all Republicans vote for Sanchez as well.

Totally agree. Sanchez is corrupt and self serving. Harris, like Hillary, will send us all to the camps.

“Amazing that the GOP couldn’t even get a Senate candidate”!

“The State of California changed our system to have a Louisiana-style (runoff) system, so only the top two candidates (from any party) are left standing.”

A very bad system if you happen to be in the minority. Closed primary with winners from both parties facing off in the General election is better as you can actually get your candidates to the General election. You still may lose, but at least you had a chance.
