I was working for a Fortune 70 when the Clarence Thomas thing blew up. Immediately, we were all sent to sexual harassment re-education camp. Then Bill Clinton got elected and the re-education camp was scrapped.
So now another sexual harassment narrative spins up just in time for Bill Clinton’s wife to get nominated
I've had two female engineering managers during my career. One was the worst micro-managing chasing-your-tail directive giving boss I've ever had the displeasure to work for. The other was just about the best manager I've ever known. Just sayin'...
Of course - they're beautiful so they are used to being kowtowed to.
It has been my experience that some supervisor will want to get rid of a middle-manager, so he will find the biggest train wreck in the office and (presumably) offer to not fire her if she will take down the middle manager, after which he fires her anyway.
While this may or may not be what happened here, my guess is there is a puppet master somewhere. Whether or not that is Megyn? I have my doubts, she makes her living in a fish bowl and can’t seem to restrain herself from doing things like interviewing Malik Shabazz. She’s more of your train wreck type I think.
I'd be curious to see how she would be to work for.
Don’t get married except to an exceptional woman, and for the same reason.
Otherwise, you will have a spiritual and financial vampire in your midst. And you will be blinded to this fact by the emotional bond that is maintained through frequent sexual intercourse.
I would never work for another company with a female HR manager!
Their brains don’t work right. It might be OK in some fields, but in manufacturing they are too stupid to understand how things work.
OOOH! I think that we hit a feminist.
I don’t know who that is, but okay...
Maybe off topic, but have heard from some women who don’t want to work for another woman. They prefer a male boss.
And among their reasons, are that some women are such back biting two faced people, when put in positions of authority. They go on power trips and it goes to their head, when they are placed in charge of other people.
Of course there are difficult male bosses and male employees too. But just thought it’s intersting that I’ve heard more than one woman talk of this, and that they prefer to have a man for a boss.
If she sits down, well, let’s just say that there will be some views of things she didn’t mean to show off. A little modesty goes a long way.
Absolute garbage. I hope you’re not in charge of hiring anyone.
you have no idea what her intentions are.
Smart move.
Resumes with degrees in "(anything) Studies", especially "Social Justice", don't even make it to my desk.
Maybe there are some good people in that pile, but I don't bother. It's for the same reason I don't dig through manure piles looking for diamonds....I probably won't find one, and I'm more likely to just get splattered with crap.
Perhaps you need to go back to being a lurker, or is it troll?
If he is, it won’t be for long.
It’s been my experience that women bosses have something to “prove.” Therefore, they tend to work their underlings harder and make their lives more miserable. It’s not always true...I’ve had good and bad bosses of both genders...but it’s often true.
In Mfg they are just too stupid. They don’t understand that you have to fire people for coming in 5 min late.
Their mis-wired brain worries about feelings, not production.
