My goodness, Obama, you started off your presidency with inflammatory rhetoric. Did you honestly expect your supporters not to run with it? Or are you now trying to back away and pretend that you had nothing to do with the toxic national climate that YOU created?
Many people voted for you on the mistaken belief that you would be a uniter, that you would smooth over the racial divides that still exist decades after the Civil Rights act was signed.
