The Donald Endorses The Donald: Rumsfeld Says Not ‘Even a Tough Call for Me,’

Rumsfeld said:

So then you look at the two choices—and as I look at Mrs. Clinton, I find her unacceptable as a presidential prospect. She is clearly corrupt. She is clearly on the wrong side of every major threat we face. She would represent another four years of the Obama administration. Can you imagine President Obama went to the Coast Guard Academy and said that the major threat facing the young graduates at the Coast Guard Academy was global warming? That’s breathtaking. I think of that and I’ve spoken to the Academies over the years and what an unfortunate thing to tell those people. It’s a different kind of a problem. In any event, I don’t think we can afford another four or eight years of what we’ve been doing.

On Trump, however, Rumsfeld noted he does disagree with the billionaire real estate developer on some things—particularly Trump’s viewpoints on the war in Iraq—but that their agreements far outweigh their disagreements. He said he clearly supports Trump for president and hopes that he wins the election in November

In two sentences Rummy says, Clinton is a crook, and Trump has personal honor.

God bless Donald Rumsfeld. He was the Bush administration’s MVP. No one else came close including and especially George W. Bush.

why isn’t the first thing that anyone says to or about hillary clinton “how the hell do you have the unmitigated gall to run for president”?

Someone get a memo to Rumsfeld: >Stay tuned and watch. And don’t expect 10 year long compassionate wars where we do all the heaving lifting, dying and rebuilding their stink holes. They weakened our country and looted the American treasure with these failed policies. We’re broke, so we’ll do it tougher and smarter this time.<

We had a very passionate primary with several good candidates. The mature republican voters had some good people to choose from (the immature just pounded out insults all day).

Now that it is down to Trump and klinton... pppphhhhhtttt anyone with the IQ of a potato will endorse Trump.

I have always admired Donald Rumsfeld, he has a great story.

I got to go see him give a lecture in Boston, and to get in I had to walk a gauntlet of protesting liberal moonbats calling me a “fascist” because I was going to listen to “the war criminal” speak!

Great man.

As for George W. Bush, I disagree with his kissy-face polite politics with the left, his stance on immigration, etc., but I am not going to back down on supporting his performance as Commander-in-Chief. He fought an unpopular war, and took it to the Islamic a-holes, (paraphrasing Patton put it) murdering those lousy Taliban and insurgent muslim c***suckers by the bushel-f******-basket.

They were too busy getting their asses waxed over there to attack us over here.

He had plenty of faults, but he stuck to his guns over there. There were plenty of faulty aspects to the approach of his administration, but you know what? I would rather we did that, than simply “accept” that we will see these levels of violence and murder in our own country, surrender, and get used to it as the liberals say we should.

Perhaps. But I at best all I hear is talk, and at worst, there are people in charge who want us to accept that what we have seen with terrorist attacks is the new normal.

Rummy is a real public servant. Armitage is a political whore in the Colin Powell mold. The former has your back; the later knifes your back.

A smart man like Trump knows he can use the advice and experience of Rumsfeld.
Good executives know that those with experience can teach and advise as they know much about success and failure. There is much value in knowing both.

A guy like Obama or Hillary can not even acknowledge either success or failure because they can neither achieve one, nor recognize the other.
They live in the fantasy world of politics where nothing matters except controlling perceptions to stay in power but, for the people they can accomplish nothing positive.
