Pence will do just fine, and the proof of it will be how the MSM spends the next 4 to 8 years Cheneying him.

As POTUS you just don’t want the pick to hurt you or your political proposals... for Trump, you want the VP pick to leave people saying, “I dunno, seems like a nice guy”. His pick probably had more to do with throwing the GOPE a bone than anything else.
