This year’s “ESPY Awards” on ABC opened with NBA stars Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James delivering a message regarding last week’s death of two African-Americans at the hands of law enforcement, and the Dallas attack on police officers that left five dead and several others injured.

I believe only one of those incidents involved racial profiling, and it wasn’t the police doing the profiling.

Quite right. My vehicle is in good nick and is frequently eyed up by certain races as they consider breaking into it.
Racial profiling of this kind must stop.

I may be unique, but I only follow pro sports ‘from a distance’ as in who won. I’m not a huge fan of today’s NBA or NFL and the way the game is played. As part of this change it has become rather easy to ignore ESPN and all the ‘attitude’ and fake controversy that they stir up.
Watcht the espy’s? LOLOLOLOLOL! Maybe I remembered to video tape it. LOLOLOLOL!

Good advice; in my area (northeastern NJ) there are no illusions about race relations and everyone but the most naïve newcomers (immigrants) knows the deal - and they learn quickly.
That’s right; live by the laws that apply to EVERYONE else.
How is getting stopped for speeding and/or overall aggressive driving right in view of a cop when your windows are too dark to see inside racial profiling?
how about the bad behavior, the gangbanging, the hustlin’, needs to stop too.
He has tried to distort the facts, but without much success; he is preaching to the choir when he spouts his BS, and everyone outside of “the choir” knows the truth. That is why these protests have to migrate from the “deep ‘hood” onto freeways and such; the world has moved on, and tearing up the ghettoes means nothing to “people that matter” - so they have to impede people and business wherever else they can.
