Former President Bill Clinton and George W. Bush will appear together in Little Rock on Thursday during the graduation of a leadership program launched by the duo in 2014.
The graduation of the 61 members from the 2016 Class of the Presidential Leadership Scholars Program will feature a discussion with Bush, Clinton and Tony Blair, the former British Prime Minister.
The 42nd and 43rd presidents have a close relationship despite past political tensions. Clinton defeated Bush's father, President George H.W. Bush, in 1992. And in 2000 George W. Bush ran for president promising to bring "honor and dignity to the White House" after Clinton left.
When Bush and Clinton launched the program in 2014, the two yukked it up on stage in Washington, D.C., talking openly about their legacies as president and their relationship. "He used to call me twice a year, in his second term, just to talk," Clinton said about Bush. "We'd talk -- depending on how much time he had, because he was busier than me -- somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes, for several years. It meant a lot to me."

I used to get pissed when liberals I knew would call W dumb. It’s sad to have to admit they were right. But he’s not just dumb. He’s retarded.
The Bushes don’t want to give back if they are not the ones being supported. I want to say bad things about that.
When I think of how I once looked up to W....
I remember him saying something to the effect; “Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton, pretty cool.”
With barely 4 days to go before the convention, George W. Bush chooses to spend the day with Bill Clinton. George can’t go to the convention or support the nominee, but has no problem presenting a bipartisan optics with the “husband” of the Democratic nominee. Notwithstanding some admirable qualities of the Bushes, this is who and what they have always been, members of the elite Uniparty ruling class. No doubt this has been “scheduled” in advance and is purely coincidental...
...Just disgusting!!!!!!!!!!
I thought that was bizarre too—very inappropriate!
I voted in 2000 for GWB because I hoped he might be a good president. I voted for him in 2004 because was not JFKerry. I voted for McCain in 2008 because he wasn’t Obama, and voted for Romney in 2012 for the same reason.
But now, National Review and others tell me they cannot vote for Trump, even when he is running against Hillary, because they need to be proud to cast a vote FOR someone!
ANYONE who makes nice with Bill Clinton is a total sleazebag! But judging from his Dallas appearance, W is back on the sauce and determined to make a fool of himself in every way possible, so I guess joining up with Bill shouldn’t bother him. But I’d rather cut my arm off than put it around Bill Clinton!
Ugh revolting :(
You can’t throw insults at the “crime” family and expect endorsements.
The Bushes continue their vital function as the Clinton Crime Family’s moral laundry and disinfectant.
Adopted brothers.
W’s demented/drunk/drugged out dance was so embarrassing I almost felt sorry for Moo.
I just laughed out loud, and Honey came running to see what was so funny.
I had to go to the Press in foreign language to see that picture.
That how it’s always been in occupied countries, go abroad for news.
Actually W Bush had an SAT score about 200 points higher than BJ. Of course the media never knew that....
