Aw, Newt could lobby Congress in his spare time. He’s a smart guy. And he would be a dang good press secretary. That job needs an upgrade.
I met Newt at a book signing. I told him I wished he would have had the chance to debate Obama before 2012 election. He just smiled and said “It would have been fun!”.
I would love to see the team run this summer into fall. It would force Hitlery to trot out her cabinet. I'd love to see Newt debate whatever loser Hitlery picks for State.

Someone in the know told me the back story. The law written as was could not have held up in courts. If there had been a challenge and it became case law it would have negatively messed all states up. So Pennce had no choice

It’s not like he’s putting them to use in a public role now. He may be a great choice and would be an upgrade compared to Pence or Christie.

Given that the courts are profoundly corrupted by the left, sometimes it is simply better to stand on principle regardless. Better than that, defy the courts.
