Let’s hope he doesn’t have to. Or is he going to be president from 81 to 90?
Don’t get your comment!
I think his talents would be wasted as VP.
Trump gets attention, but doesn't appear to “crave” it. He uses it to further a goal.
Newt seems to use it to massage his ego, without furthering a useful goal.
I keep thinking of him as chief of staff. That is the ultimate puppet master.
I think he’s saying that an older VP like Cheney, with low possibility of a presidential run, yields McCain as a candidate. One school of thought is you may as well be prepping for the future with the VEEP.
Two cranky old guys?
The “Get Off My Lawn!” ticket.
Trump uses attention as a weapon. Newt may use it for the sake of basking in the limelight.
Here Newt let me make it easier,
....DON’T, please. You seem so long ago, like dinosaurs.
I seriously doubt you could follow Trump around for one day given the pace he puts on things. Seriously!?
I know.
I was looking at Pence today and he really seemed to be quite dynamic. Trump likes very dynamic.
No. Gingrich is too much of a loose cannon.
Rush L says the selection is down to Christie and Pence. Trump wants Christie, but his kids want Pence.
Wouldn’t he be 81 if Trump does 2 termsn? Isn’t it much better to have Pence in place coming off a successful adminstration?
I don’t see Christie at all.
Christie strikes me as unhealthy and could keel over of a heart attack any minute.
He just cut ties with Fox. That says something.
I think he’d make a great Chief of Staff. But he’s already said on TV that if were asked to serve, he would.
Wow. You said my words better than me :)
Of the discussed choices, Gingrich is best. I just wish he’d stop this repetitive ‘it’d be hard to turn down’ BS. Why is he doing this? Is he going to turn down an offer or do something stupid like say “I accept, but do not agree with ideas/plans”?
Well, Gingrich could serve out one term. That does not seem like a good plan though.
