Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said authorities were initially called to reports of an active shooter and bomb threat.
Miami-Dade Police Detective Daniel Ferrin said the hospital has been evacuated as a precaution because of the reported threats. Officers are going floor to floor to ensure that the campus is safe.
