"Black Lives Matter” protesters took to the streets across California on Thursday night — as related protests in Dallas turned tragic as snipers shot eleven police officers, killing four. The California protests were rowdy, but not deadly. In Oakland, demonstrators vandalized a police station and snarled traffic. The San Francisco Chronicle reports:
About 2,000 angry protestors marched through downtown Oakland, blocking traffic on Interstate 880 and pouring red paint on the front door of an Oakland police station in solidarity with two black men fatally shot by police officers this week in Louisiana and Minnesota.
Cars were backed up for hundreds of yards in both directions on the elevated downtown freeway after hundreds of protestors swarmed up the on-ramps around 8:45 p.m. and began dancing, playing music and spray-painting slogans on the pavement. Other protesters climbed to the top of a semitrailer that was stalled in the huge traffic jam.

Oakland is a miserable crime cesspool and is especially hurt by gangs of thugs like this.... because the political hierarchy (mayor, etc.) order the PD to ‘stand down’ or ‘stand aside’ or “do nothing” or whatever... whenever there is an organized attack or mass-scale disruption like this on the good, decent citizens of Oakland and the Bay Area
every criminal and thug in America knows they can go to Oakland and do pretty much any damned thing they wanna... with impunity....and if in a gang, all the cops are allowed to do is stand around watching
while their mayor or other political hacks get on the mass media and lament the awful Amerika where said thugs “have to express their grievances like this”

And you wonder why the Chinese who live in Oakland’s Chinatown are seriously looking at moving to safer places. Like for example Fremont, CA, which has seen a huge surge of Chinese moving into the area in recent years.
