The videos of the shooting clearly show police officers under fire in the kill zone of the ambush putting their lives on the line working to evacuate and save the lives of protesters protesting against them

A proud day for the Protect and Serve community

Perhaps a few would be protesters watched the video

And why Obama is letting Black Lives Matter run amok.

this is not going to help Hillary, she already has the black vote as well a most hard core Democrats.

This is going to scare the the mushy middle away from the Democrats.

I think he takes New York just on home field advantage. California I think is up for play. Not normally, but California voters tend to be swayed more easily than many by perception and presentation. In a sweep situation, California will go with the sweep.

Both candidates are the same age (Trump will be 70 on election day, Clinton will be 69), but Trump seems more energetic, he is active personally on social media, he engages people all the time by going on news and entertainment shows.

He is a reality television star, and he connects with people.

It should be obvious to everyone by now that this country is well passed the stage where one man can save it.

What should be obvious by now is that most of the million dollars Hillary admitted spending for FUD shills and disinformation has been applied to the dozens of poisonous worms like you crawling all over Free Republic whispering doom.

Go to hell, worm.

You began your thread saying this:

Traditional pollsters and polidiot pundits---which by definition includes every GOPe/neverTrump blogger ever to see a birth canal---are about to get another election badly, badly wrong.

Then you write this:

But wait, it gets better for Trump: Rasmussen today shows Trump holding a shocking 20 point lead (!!) among Independents. That is a whopping 15 points higher than Minion Romney had in 2012, when he supposedly was "doing well" with Indies.

So are you inveighing generally against polling as it is done "traditionally," or only when it doesn't give us a number we want to see?

Are you also saying that Rasmussen is not a "traditional" pollster because his numbers happen to line up with our expectations?

Please clarify.

FReegards!

The thing that is scaring the middle of the road voters to support Trump over Hillary Clinton are:

1. The increasingly frightening scale of massacres by ISIS terrorists or people strongly inspired by ISIS.
2. The lawlessness of the Black Lives Matter crowd and the fact it has inspired multiple cases of shootings against law enforcement officers.
3. The fact everyone knows that they can't trust Hillary Clinton, given her penchant for attracting scandal like bees to honey.

Not quite: see the last link-—I couldn’t figure out how to cut that one down, but gave up in frustration.

Find me some EBT card carriers, government union members, alternative lifestylers, Obama phone users, aggrieved minorities, subsidized Obamacare recipients, etc..who will jump.

Alternative Lifestylers? Hello....ORLANDO SHOOTING?? That crew would rather endure finger-wagging lectures from Evangelicals than Muslims cutting their heads off.

Aggrieved Minorities? I've seen polling that shows Trump doing surprisingly well with Blacks and Hispanics.

Subsidized Obamacare Recipients?? Obamacare still SUCKS. They won't all discount the alternatives.

Gov Union members and SNAP card addicts, I grant you, have almost no reason to jump.

I think that’s high. But we don’t need 73. A 70m turnout would be a 10m vote win.

I was in OH. They required photo ID every time I voted. Moved to AZ. They required photo ID. Yeah, some sneak through, but not as bad as many Freepers want to believe.

Factor in Dem cheating and polls don’t mean much.

Not in all the polling places I’ve been in. And in OH, we had poll watchers everywhere. There was some fraud-—one or two people came in a couple of times with different IDs-—but not much.

Crying fraud all the time excuses people from facing the reality that their candidates suck sometimes.

Was just in CA talking with my friends, and they are totally depressed with how overwhelmingly liberal it is.

I'm giving you the facts on the ground. We have an illegitimate gubbermint run by the muslim brotherhood. Congress is MIA...COMPROMISED. The media is in full defense mode for the O’muslim regime. The rule of law is all but dead.

The American people need to realize that we're at defcon 1. We're not on the road to Tyranny.....It's here in spades.

Rasmussen actually does use different methods than Gallup and WSJ. He had a tremendous run from 1996 (I think 96) to about 2004. Scott Rasmussen left the firm about that time, and the Rasmussen polling had some real problems in 06 and 08. But they appear in the last few cycles to be back in swing.

Bottom line, the indicators are really, really good for Trump. To come up with “Trump trails” headlines, the pollsters have to use D+7-10 samples, or 2-5 point D overweights.
