Question for Comey...if today, Mary Jones, John Smith, Bill Sykes, and fifty people at the State Dept and Defense Dept did exactly the same thing as Clinton, are you telling me they would be free to do so, and you would not recommend charges against them?

“Trey Gowdy? The guy who couldn’t accomplish anything on Benghazi? That Trey Gowdy?”

Yep, THAT Trey Gowdy; that’s why I emphasized FINALLY with caps.

Rome’s military was not undermined by Caesar, which is a notable difference.

He’s good with interrogation but there is never any follow through. All hat and no cattle, is that the correct term?

I’m pretty sure Gowdy is compromised, which is why he has never taken any of his efforts anywhere—and is choosing to leave Washington.

But he also is really competent, on another level.

> ... It’s unbelievable the levels of corruption right now.

The corruption is level at all, they have it piled as high as possible, in huge mounds.

The question I want them to ask Comey is:

IF Hillary Clinton once again held high office and did exactly what she did again, would it *then* rise to the level of intent you require?

I’m watching the washington dc 2 step right now. What a load of CRAP! There really is 2 levels of justice, 1 for those who are wealthy, well connected, & powerful and then for the rest of us, with the boot heel coming down on our throat/s before we get to see a court room to enter our plea/s. Just more theater for us peasants, so we do NOT rise up against our masters!

My favorite part? Getting Comey to state that making a false exculpatory statement = intent and consciousness of guilt.

It was the highlight of the day and perhaps Trey Gowdy's finest moment.

And, sad to say, it was way, way over the head of the Gowdy-Haters posting on this thread. They have no idea what you are talking about.

The point of this hearing isn’t to “change” anything: that can be done only by the voters; the purpose of this hearing is to provide ammunition for the election.

Neither Gowdy nor Congress can indict Hillary for criminal actions nor convene a grand jury: that’s the job of executive branch. All they can do is try to expose the corruption of the Obama administration.

Charlotte, NC CBS radio news breathlessly leads with:

“Commercial Flights to Cuba By Airlines!!!”

At end of broadcast CBS radio propaganda mentioned the “hearings” and played a soundbite:

Chaffetz: “Did Hillary Clinton lie?”

Comey: “No.”

And now the weather......

NONE of this crap is going anywhere. IT DOESN’T MATTER.

I wish he had asked one this question.

The FBI is basing the application of the 1917 law on judgments made during the last 90 years.

There have been many advances in communication over that time. As a matter of fact, five years is a lifetime in the advances in electronic communications. Don't you think the FBI should also change with the advances in communication technology?
