If I had made a post in favor of TTIP I’d use the same example. The UK imported 50 billion worth of cars. 50% from Germany and 1% from the USA. Here is one place where both the USA and the UK would have benefited from the free trad3.

The Germans will have to make a choice between kissing ass with the UK, or a (probably uncontrollable) long-term devaluation of the Euro, or dumping the Euro and resuming the Deutschmark, orrrrr, a two-tiered currency system for the EU... *unless* they want their modern industrial economy to tank.
