I am surrounded by liberals where I live and work, and one of them today said they can’t believe she is walking away without charges.

Impeaching does little good without following it up with removal. And that’d require Democrats voting to remove a recently elected leader who won with the populace knowing what she’d done. Not going to happen without immense pressure from the left as well - and why would there be?

Frankly, the House could decline to recognize her election...but that’d be a pretty unimaginable line.

In short...pleading fundamental incompetence...again. That’s like the resolution of the White House Travel Office firings. Yes she did it, but the argument went that the prosecutor couldn’t reliably prove she knew what she was doing.

The fix for president is in. And it’s Hillary. Otherwise she would have been charged. In fact, Lynch would have been hung out to dry for meeting with Clinton.

The Clinton Foundation will continue to be a slush fund and a place for our enemies to buy our secrets.

I predict within two years after Hillary is sworn in there will be no border with Mexico or Canada. It will be the nation of North America. A first step to one world government.

Flame away for my cynicism. But is it really cynicism when the facts are right in front of you?

“I agree it’s a great opportunity for Trump if he capitalizes on it, quickly, and if GOPe can keep their nevertrump mouths shut.”

On the contrary, the #NeverTrump nimrods on Twitter are doubling down. I believe those people are truly insane. They are just fine with Hillary winning, anyone but that “evil”, “ UnChristian” Trump.

At this point I hate the NeverTrumpers as much, if not more, than the Obamabots & Hillary supporters. HATE THEM.

It’s also very telling that the #NeverTrumpers passionately defend & support Paul Ryan. Tells everything you need to know about their sacred “principles”.

I’m afraid you’re absolutely correct. I’m not surprised by this outcome because I have absolutely no faith in anyone in the District of Corruption.

Sadly, it’s time to research the immigration policies of other countries..

On the very slim bright side of Comey’s cave in, the whole world is now aware of the fact that the US govt has one of the most incompetent and corrupt administrations in recent memory. Hillary Clinton had thousands of govt workers under her authority and could not even handle simple emails or any kind of common workplace tasks. How many other govt employees at the highest levels are as unqualified as Clinton was and is to carry out their assignments? The democrats want the office of the president and do not care how flawed a candidate is. They will take Hilary any way they can arrange it and however many good people have to pay the price to let her skate.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: After the ’70s, the digital revolution pushed cultural trends moved in the opposite direction with everything becoming more niche-oriented, decentralized and personalized.

This change puts “unprecedented power in the hands of every individual,” according to Harvard’s Nicco Mele.

It’s “a radical redistribution of power that our traditional institutions don’t and perhaps can’t understand.” As if that wasn’t enough, he adds, “Radical connectivity is toxic to traditional power structures.”

TRUMP SHOULD LEAD AMERICA TO DECLARE OUR COLLECTIVE OUTRAGE.
WE'VE BEEN HARMED BY OUR GOVERNMENT AND ITS OFFICIALS, HERE'S WHAT WE NEED TO TO DO NOW
:

Americans injured by this incident, are able to file suit under the Federal Tort Claims Act.

Historically, under the doctrine of “sovereign immunity,” you were not permitted to sue the king. Sovereign immunity has carried over to modern times in the form of a general rule that you cannot sue the government — unless the government says you can.

Fortunately, the Federal Tort Claims Act (”FTCA”) allows certain kinds of lawsuits against federal employees who are acting within the scope of their employment. And not doing their job to protect the US from high crimes and misdemeaners is one of them,

If you believe you may have a claim for negligence (careless conduct, or other wrongful or “tortious” conduct) against a federal agency or employee, you must first determine whether you can sue the federal government under the FTCA.

Although the limitations and exceptions are too numerous to review here, here are some general guidelines regarding the limitations on FTCA claims:

• Only federal employees can be sued under the FTCA, not independent contractors hired by the federal government (unless they are treated like employees).

• The negligent or wrongful conduct must have been done within the scope of the defendant’s employment.

• In general, only claims of negligence — as opposed to intentional misconduct — are allowed (though some claims for intentional misconduct can be brought against certain federal law enforcement officers).

• The claim must be based on — and permitted by — the law of the state in which the misconduct occurred.

Despite these and numerous other limitations on FTCA lawsuits, the federal government still pays out millions of dollars each year to compensate FTCA claims. Maybe it will get someone’s attention. And I’ll bet I can find at least one hundred lawyers and a number of organizations that would like to get a piece of Uncle Sugar. (hat tip FReeper redwood71)
