The United Arab Emirates urged citizens to avoid wearing traditional clothes when traveling abroad after a businessman visiting the US was handcuffed at gunpoint because a hotel clerk spread false reports that he was an Islamic State suspect.
Ahmed al-Menhali, who was wearing a white, ankle-length shirt along with a headscarf and headband, suffered a 'light stroke' when he was detained at gunpoint last week in Avon, Ohio.
Al-Menhali was handcuffed and searched in an incident that was widely reported in the Emirates, prompting an apology from a number of American officials.

Funny how we have no problems with the Amish in traditional dress.
Maybe it has something to do with behavior

To us “infidels”, nothing screams “Silence! I kill you!” like a dishdasha or shawal kameez, kufi cap, shovelcut beard & glowering stare.
We are so racist.....

If this keeps up the UN will have to invade America to protect our “peaceful” residents.

If a video was made of the incident, you can expect Hitlery to apologize for it.

Was the garb all there was to it, and someone really did react to solely that?
The reason for asking is that sometimes these chaps like to push the boundary of public behavior.

Oh my! The humility coupled with a weak mentality causes a stroke.
