Clinton camp opposes special prosecutor for emails
Washington Examiner ^ | July 3, 2016 | Sean Higgins

A key Hillary Clinton supporter on Sunday rejected the idea of appointing a special prosecutor to investigate the former secretary of state's private emails, and said the investigation has not been compromised despite Attorney General Loretta Lynch's private meeting with the candidate's husband, Bill Clinton, last week.

Rep. Xavier Becerra, D-Calif., said repeatedly on "Fox News Sunday" that Bill Clinton's meeting with Lynch was just a "chance encounter" and therefore didn't require Lynch to recuse herself. The attorney general has said she would follow the advice of career prosecutors at the Justice Department, he noted.

"Why stop that process?" Becerra asked. "Just because you have a chance encounter with Bill Clinton, you don't throw that away."

The probe is apparently close to wrapping up.

A special prosecutor delays the whole process for two years, terrible idea.

If the FBI was going to recommend indictment, Hillary’s team would flood the media with the opposite to make the recommendation seem as outrageous as possible when it was released.

Just saying.

That’s like the Taller Than Mickey Rooney Award. You can be very short and still win.

This sure is a surprise. Clintoon was “voluntarily” volunteering all over the place Saturday morning to help the FBI get to the bottom of this email scandal and bring the perps to justice. LOL! What a bunch of clowns.

And it gives the Clintonistas a target to polarize and personally destroy.

Something the Clintons excel in

“Clintoon was “voluntarily” volunteering all over the place Saturday morning”........

My guess, she picked the time, a major holiday weekend when many would not notice. How clever of her..........

Are they going to get out even if there is an indictment ? I can see the media lowering the bar to why let the FBI or a grand jury decide...now she deserves a trial.

Tick Tock. . Tick . . Tock . . Bull. The Clintoons don’t
care WHO “poses” against them. Nobody dares cross the
Clintoons. Except God; and I would question whether they
even believe in Him . . . but .. Tick Tock . . Tick Tock . .
Tick Tock . . . The time will come when we carefully look
for them in their place where we last saw them . . . and
they will be no more . . Tick Tock . .

I read somewhere a few years ago that a Special Prosecutor is the one thing Obama is afraid of and he would veto any attempt to re-create the expired law..

Th meeting between Lynch and 'Slick Willie' was not accidental, or coincidental
especially with the security entourage of both political dignitaries.
There is the already appearance of partiality, especially with the security of both bureaucrats forbidding photos or interviews,
and this incident would have gone unnoticed by the complicit media, except for an accidental encounter with a local journalist.
No one knows for sure what occurred and what was talked about, or what was discussed, except for what the respective bureaucrats have publicly stated;
one is a proven, and impeached liar, and the other is a professional political enabler,
and neither has a record of honesty in support of their oath of office.
