Still lookin' for the light at the end of the tunnel. As I said before somewhere on one of the threads, this 'hole' thing is an insult and a slap in the face to, probably, millions of Americans who worked with classified information with the full knowledge that even losing by accident, classified information could cost you your job at the very least and at worst could land them in jail and paying a big fine. Mrs. rktman and I both worked in jobs where we understood the obligation of safe guarding certain information and material. We would have face consequences for a breach such as this. The special folks, apparently not so much.

The analysis makes sense. Lynch and Clinton meet. FBI questions Hillary.

At best it was a “heads up” warning to the Clintons, at worse it was reassurance,”I wont prosecute,” or passing information received from a sympathetic FBI cross-dresser.

Probably not on topic, but what was Hillary’s college thesis about? And why did she have it sealed from public view in 1969? Sounds paranoid to me.

Did she kiss it?

This may be the first documentable case in which Bill Clinton was alone with a woman and she wasn't sexually assaulted.

Lynch is no “General.” She is Attorney General which makes her the chief attorney for the U.S. Government, not a General.

The damage, and great damage it is the Lib media notwithstanding, has already been done. No matter the final outcome she loses this fight.

The damage from an indictment or even a recommendation for indictment is obvious but even no recommendation to indict stinks to high heaven of a massive cover-up and will only turn more people against her.

Those who previously supported her would not change their mind under any circumstances but those on the fence can already see what is happening here what with Clinton and Lynch meeting.

Me included to a lesser degree. It was very clear to me that the full force of the Federal govt would used against me if I made a mistake. Heck, if I knowingly broke the law it would be even worse. It meant huge fines and jail time.

I am waiting with bated breath to see how this turns out.

You would think there would be some other, more discrete, way for them to communicate. Burner phone anyone?

“...not ambushed...”

Absolutely not. Lynch was the messenger sent by Obama to tip off Hillary prior to the FBI questioning via Bill.

Let us pray that the FBI is not infiltrated yet. I am concerned about the reports that they were there on the tarmac and gave the appearance of co operation by not allowing pictures.

I hope this is not indicative of anything.

The fix is in. The timing of this meeting speaks volumes—just days before the long awaited Clinton interview. I believe Lynch told Clinton that all was well unless Clinton confessed during the interview, so just give a lot of “I really don’t recall” answers and she’s off the hook. The announcement will come just before the convention. This is as crooked as can be. Lynch is no fool, and knew that if the meeting got out it would look bad, but she didn’t care, as it was more important to impart the information. They are “in your face” crooked.

When may we expect the transcript of Hillary’s interrogation? I want to count the objections. Should be quite a tangle of them, if as reported she had lawyers like crabs in a basket.

I see that the Clintoon campaign is sending Rimshot Joe and Obonzo out to campaign for her starting this week. I know those two jackasses don’t have anything to do anyway but it still makes me wonder if Clintoon has been place under house arrest.

Loretta Lynch works for the citizens of The United States.

She does not work for Barack Obama.

She does not work for the Democrat Party.

These Democrats keep forgetting who pays their wages.

Congress can mess with their pay pretty easily.

The bottom line to the article:

I continue to believe that the FBI will refer charges against Hillary Clinton in the email case for at least the failure to preserve federal records and mishandling of classified information. I think this because the evidence of at least her misfeasance, and to only a slightly lesser degree her malfeasance, is so overwhelming that it would be a true travesty of justice and a huge black mark on that agency and its director, were there be any other conclusion.

Lynch knows this, both because she knows the case, and probably the FBI told her so. But as bad as those charges would be for Hillary, they are not fatal, either legally or politically. It would be difficult, but not extraordinarily so (at least by the standards of the Obama administration) for Lynch (or her subordinates at Justice) to say they come to a different conclusion as to Hillary’s criminal culpability with respect to handling the documents, and thus defer actually charging her. Alternatively, it is also conceivable that Hillary even if charged with federal records violations and mishandling classified material could get the General Petraeus treatment plead to a misdemeanor, and still survive to win election. It was a largely political decision by Lynch's predecessor, Eric Holder, to charge Petraeus only with mishandling classified documents, rejecting the advice of the FBI and career prosecutors to also go forward with charges of making false statements.

Here then is the final piece of the Clinton-Lynch meeting puzzle. Lynch did not want to be put in Holder's position. It's one thing for her to help Hillary out on the documents, another if the FBI can bring credible charges of obstruction or making false statements. So Lynch's meeting with Clinton was not only to deliver news of the investigation's status, but to warn him -- and so Hillary -- not to trap herself in the forthcoming FBI interview. In other words, for Hillary to go against all instincts and try to tell the truth, or as much of it as possible, lest the FBI catch her out and solidify an obstruction case against her too.

Since news of the meeting has come to light and with it a storm of controversy, Lynch has said she will follow the advice of the FBI and career prosecutors. But this still gives her plenty of wiggle room. It is not a promise to vacate the FBI's findings should that agency recommend charges, as career prosecutors in her own department may differ. She has not recused herself, and retains the authority to overrule the FBI until she does. Not only that, but even if she recused herself, she'd be replaced by a subordinate political appointee, who would also likely do the Obama administration’s bidding.

Had the meeting in Phoenix never come to light, which was clearly the intention of Lynch and Clinton, the fix with Hillary would have been in. As it stands, Hillary's fate will depend on whether she escaped the FBI interview in good shape, the integrity of that agency's director, and the utter indifference of many Americans to her criminal dishonesty. Finally, it will depend on the Obama administration's tolerance for blatant political intrigues. If the past is any guide, that tolerance is quite high.

In other words, Loretta handed the Witch a status report so she could prepare a crib sheet in order to better fudge her answers to the FBI's questions and ultimately skate on anything more serious than a slap on the wrist.

Stated more simply: the fix is in!
