I think he was ordered by the WH to surrender. That will never come out, but Obama has bastardized every reg, every SOP, and put REs on our military so binding that they can’t use the head without first checking with POTUS.

It’s the most likely explanation.

The real reason they did not stand and fight was for the very fact that the politically correct commander was afraid to do anything without approval from a higher level...something that just might affect his advancements to a higher level.

He violated the most basic tenet of military morals and gave up without a fight. Furthermore he violated one of the very first lessons you are taught in basic training...the military rules of you get captured.

Political Correctness has gutted our rank and file within the military and all aspects of all employees of the government on all levels. Decisions are made as a group approval instead of individually.

These people should be punished to the hilt and made an example to try to gain back some of the military professionalism we had in the past.

Someone had posted that maybe the female was raped and our military was forced to watch.

Maybe that is why there is a lockdown on what actually happened. Being that wimmen are now allowed on the battlefront and all dat.

I join you in paranoia world. Otherwise you just can’t wrap your head around our military being so stupid and weak.

Naval commander surrendered to Iran to protect nuclear deal

Nothing in Moran's piece supports this headline.

“Any REAL Navy commander would have fired every weapon he had authority over”

My BIL was a full Commander in the Navy and I can tell you if he had been on the boat or his brother who was a LT CMDR things would have gone a whole different way.

Surrendering, groveling, crying. Nothing surprises me anymore. When Obama faggotized the armed services, any expectations I ever had towards seeing valor or exceptionalism were extinguished.

I can’t help but wonder if there was something on the boat that was transferred. Its my paranoia, I know, I need help.

That is the only explanation that makes sense...

With this administration, there is no level of treachery they won't sink to...

I do not trust Obama, or his military. It is under his bony fingers now. I hope people give these men the benefit of the doubt.

Trump would be the first to tell you —

A deal is a good deal if both sides really want it to go through.

US Navy needs to surrender so that the deal goes through?
It should be just as true that:
The Iranian Navy needs to let them go without a hassle so that the deal goes through.

But only one side (the US) was eager to make the deal happen.

The one who surrendered (long ago) was Obama.

The real problem was that there was not a crusty Chief in the group, who knows what needs to be done, who would tell the “commander” what needs to be done and tells the white hats to get moving to accomplish what need to be done.

Thus they stood around while the “commander” worried more about his future than the future of the crew.
