The interesting thing is, if Christians had been targeted for investigation, they would have probably thrown the doors of the churches open and told everybody to come in.
But that is a Christian thing, isn’t it.
I was living in Japan in the 90s. Japan had opened its doors to Middle-Easterners by giving them temporary visas for work. Same thing as we see here in the USA, as soon as the muslims got there, they became a group unto themselves. Crime soared.. burglaries, rape. Overstayed their visas. They had a scheme of reactivating old, used up phone cards and selling them on the street and bullying pedestrians into buying them or facing aggression. The Iranians were the biggest offenders. Pakistanis, too. The Ueno area of Tokyo became known as Little Tehran and was very dangerous, especially for westerners. This was right after Reagan, and Iran was only allowing hard line anti-westerners to have permission to leave the country. Moderates who didn’t get out with the Shah were not permitted to leave.
One day at dawn, what seemed like every policeman in the country, shoulder to shoulder, closed in on Little Tehran and every Middle Easterner was detained. If they didn’t have a visa or it was expired, they were immediately thrown out of the country. No exceptions! Crime dropped to almost zero again.
Someone is starting to wise up. Too bad it’s not us.
I have always heard the Japanese described as a practical, pragmatic people. This is a game of survival against savages. It must be done.
