MONESSEN, Pa. (AP) -- Republican Donald Trump took aim at U.S. free trade deals in a speech delivered in Western Pennsylvania Tuesday that painted his likely Democratic rival Hillary Clinton as a champion of the kind of globalization that has pushed manufacturing jobs overseas.

It was a tough speech. I did not see all of it, but I’ll view the rest of it.
It was a wonderful speech. See it if you can. It is a map to pull America out of the hole and get us back on out feet.

And it's not just about jobs and economic opportunity. It's about freedom, exercise of "Creator-endowed rights and liberties," and opportunity for each citizen, not just self-appointed elitists who fancy themselves as entitled to make decisions for all.
Thomas Jefferson wrote to Roger Weightman on June 24, 1826:

The ideas of 1776 came out of a set of ideas consistent with liberty.

There are those who call themselves "progressives," when, in fact, their ideas are regressive and enslaving, and as old as the history of civilization.
Would suggest to any who wish an authentic history of the ideas underlying American's founding a visit to this web site, at which Richard Frothingham's outstanding 1872 "History of the Rise of the Republic of the United States" can be read on line.
This 600+-page history traces the ideas which gave birth to the American founding. Throughout, Richard Frothingham, the historian, develops the idea that it is "the Christian idea of man" which allowed the philosophy underlying the Declaration of Independence and Constitution to become a reality--an idea which recognizes the individual and the Source of his/her "Creator"-endowed life, liberty and law.
Is there any wonder that the enemies of freedom, the so-called "progressives," do not promote such authentic histories of America? Their philosophy puts something called "the state," or "global interests" as being superior to individuals and requires a political elitist group to decide what role individuals are to play.
In other words, they must turn the Founders' ideas upside-down in order to achieve a common mediocrity for individuals and power for themselves.
It’s amazing that the lefties are trying to squelch the exposure of the vast corruption of government.

Toomey is in surprisingly good shape and Trump is going there so its a good sign he thinks the Keystone State is in play.
Flipping awesome. Never thought I’d hear a speech like this in my lifetime. BTW I’m a resident of Pittsburgh PA and if this speech doesn’t inspire PA workers to vote for Trump and his brave New America, nothing will.
If I was still in PA, I would vote for him. I have been voting independent since 1992. I regard Trump as independent. This is an important job issue ignored by both parties.
I'd like to see him take his tour to a few of the inner cities. He's from NY, why not try to grab Harlem from Hillary?
Trump is going to be very competitive here, especially if Hillary picks somebody like Elizabeth Warren. "Vote for me because I have a vagina" is going to be the key selling point for the top three on the ticket. Maybe the only selling point.
I'd like to think that the Commonwealth electorate isn't quite as stupid as California's. Toomey's traction in the polls is giving me hope.
The Globalist Fatwa on Trump will go full blast. Probably take the mic away from him. This message has been suppressed for some 20 years. Perot and Buchanan were slandered and gone.
