Democratic members of the House Select Committee on Benghazi published their final report on the investigation into the Sept. 11, 2012, terror attack Monday, front-running the findings from committee Republicans that are expected to be released within days.
The 339-page report was accompanied by the unclassified versions of transcripts from interviews with dozens of witnesses involved in the handling of the attack.
Democrats vowed their report would highlight "abuses" from Chairman Trey Gowdy and panel Republicans who probed the circumstances surrounding Benghazi for more than two years.
The minority report, entitled "Honoring Courage, Improving Security, and Fighting the Exploitation of a Tragedy," argued committee Republicans wasted resources to reach a conclusion similar to those of other congressional panels.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
For your light-summer, comic-relief reading enjoyment.
I’m surprised that the headline doesn’t claim that they FLEE their final retort...
Did the Democrats concluded that Benghazi was the result of a YouTube video?
Issa and Gowdy let them get away with it, too.
Basically it said “not her fault” - could have done that written on a postie.
Yeah, because THAT'S what my fellow Americans really want answers to.
How I LOATHE The Left!
And the official Committee Reort is where? My God.
The minority report, “Honoring Courage, Improving Security, and Fighting the Exploitation of a Tragedy,” failed to include the conversation Hillary had post-Benghazi.
This is classic Clinton MO-—combining investments and death and destruction. Profiting off a tragedy-—it’s what the Clintons do best. Read on.
(EXCERPT) On September 15, in a telephone call with then-Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Amr, then-Secy Clinton emphatically portrayed the stupid, very offensive film as the root cause of the Benghazi violence.
Clinton told Amr, I have repeatedly, as has the President, and other officials in our government, deplored not only the content of this stupid, very offensive film But we have to exercise more self-discipline otherwise well be in a vicious downward circle against everyone who has ever felt offended, particularly on the internet .
After referring to Benghazi, Secy Clintons telephone call with then-Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Amr also contained a curious reference to what the former secretary referred to as a very successful investment visit led by my deputy Tom Nides, and, on the very day they left, this series of incidents began to unfold.
NOTE: According to the Washington Post, Nides, (1) was deputy secretary for management and resources at the State Department, and, (2) at the same time, Nides was responsible for communications with donors for the Clinton Foundation.
Nides was also involved in the earlier scandal involving Secy Clintons efforts to provide special access to State Department officials for hedge fund clients of Chelsea’s husband, her son-in-law, Marc Mezvinsky. (hat tip Judicial watch)
Is their “report” all marked up with black stripes like a herd of Zebras on the run?
They couldn’t send assets to save those four in time. HELL! They didn’t want to. It saved them from having to crush their throats with barbells, and running over them with SUV’s later.
How tall’s the pedestal?
The one they put Hillary on ...
These ‘RAT suck ups are so blatantly obvious, this so-called ‘report’ doesn’t even need a laugh track, they all need to be tarred, feathered, and run out of town, which the incoming Trump Administration just might arrange for them with nothing but the power of the bully pulpit.
Were they any words in the report like Mursi or Rahman? I’ll guess and say NO. All you folks who may be here in 50 years from now, remember those two words, it will take time, the Dems are experts on burying things.
White House refuses Benghazi questions for Obama

The White House and the House Select Committee on Benghazi are at a standoff over whether President Barack Obama should answer a series of questions about the 2012 terrorist attack in Libya that left four Americans dead.
Neil Eggleston, counsel to the president, blasted the committee for sending the president a list of questions about the attack an inquiry the administration deemed inappropriate and a partisan attempt to frame the White House as uncooperative.
Eggleston has encouraged Obama not to answer the committees questions because of the implications of his response on the constitutional separation of powers, according to a letter sent Saturday to Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) and obtained by POLITICO.
If the president were to answer your questions, his response would suggest that Congress has the unilateral power to demand answers from the president about his official acts, the letter reads.
Eggleston also accused the panel of asking questions it already knew the answer to something the committee denies.

I’m just guessing here but, Bush’s fault?

President Obama and Hillary Clinton likely made the decision to falsely tie an inflammatory anti-Islam Internet video to the fatal Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack that left four Americans dead in Benghazi, Libya, the chief of the conservative government watchdog group Judicial Watch (JW) told Breitbart News.
The president and then-Secretary of State Clinton sought the assistance from domestic and foreign jihadists in spreading the online video lie, added JW President Tom Fitton.
Breitbart News spoke to Fitton about newly released Benghazi attack-related documents pried out of the U.S. State Department under a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed by JW last September.
One of the document shows that the Pentagon received a request for military assets in response to the attack, but the Obama administration seemingly refused. An email from the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) to top White House and other administration officials states, OSD has received queries asking if military assets are being sent to either location [Libya and Egypt].
Have responded not to our knowledge. The Obama administrations initial response explaining the cause of the attack was immediately determined by top Obama White House officials contrary to the presidents claim that it was based on intelligence available at the time.
Obama officials and the president himself linked an anti-Islam Internet video to the attack, saying it incited the terrorists who carried out the assault. The president said the video link was gleaned from the best understanding of the intelligence that had been provided. However, Fitton told Breitbart News, We havent found any records that the video...(Excerpt) Read more at breitbart.com ...
