more than 30 people attending a Tony Robbins event in Dallas have been treated for burns after the motivational speaker encouraged them to walk on hot coals.

I have some very, very sad news for my fellow freepers.

It has nothing do do with faith in Tony, and nothing to do with the laws of physics.

I attended one of his weekend presentations, at the end we were invited to walk on the red hot coals about 40 feet or so.

I opted to do it knowing full well that I could, keep in mind I’m a former professional firefighter. Long story short I made the walk with no problems, I didn’t even feel the heat on my feet.

It has to do with the mind. Monks do these types of things all the time.
