How Trump benefits from Brexit
Yahoo Finance ^ | June 24,2016 | Andy Serwer

UK voters shocked just about everyone when they voted Thursday to leave the European Union. The Brexit shows the weakness not only of the EU and globalization — but also of polling. And doesn’t Donald Trump love that!

Wall Street too was caught completely off guard because it appeared that firms did independent polling that they believed showed the "remain" votes would win, traded the pound sterling up on that notion and then got crushed when the news came out the other way. It really was a rejection of the British establishment by the voters, with a great deal of voting falling along class lines. There are many exceptions, but generally Brexit voters tended to be working class while the "stay" crowd was more upper-crusty.

What does this mean for the US? Not much directly — our trade with Britain is less than 1% of GDP, except that it suggests nativism, populism and me-firstism have a great deal of traction.

This bodes well for Donald Trump. And it was ironic then that Trump is in Scotland (coincidence or not?), today where he gave a press conference that was classic Trump, full of golf course promotion and braggadocio (replete with ducks quacking in the background), coupled with a bit of credit-taking for Brexit, but more importantly and correctly, linking Brexit to his thinking and campaign.

Brexit gives Trump and America hope that the yoke of globalist elites can be taken off,

Exactly.

The new wars aren’t fought with guns and tanks. They are fought using the west’s idiotic immigration policies against us. This is a war against civilization by the barbaric Islamists who represent an existential threat to civilization.

Another big loser with this Brexit is old Horseface John Kerry. He just told a bunch of graduating snowflakes that they’d be living in a “borderless world”. His “borderless world” just took a big hit.

Elitists still don’t get it. Still not listening to what the voters are telling them.

Somebody is not honestly releasing poling data if just about everybody was shocked. Who are these people who have no contact with the common man?

It is not that elitists are not listening to what the British voters told them.

It is just that they don’t like it.

They want to rule a one world government, abolish the middle class, and turn everyone into obedient surfs dependent on handouts.

That is the plan—the Brits said no.

Now it is our turn.

“Who are these people who have no contact with the common man?”

Obama, Hillary, the DNC, the RNC, the MSM, pollsters, and Congress. In a nutshell, the entire establishment.

Thursday afternoon in Britain, some Brit bigshot, or at least a wannabe, lied that the votes were going STAY, although exit polling was not permitted. Just another lying lib.

Conservatism, too is dead.

The Conservative Party, which was neutral on Brexit, got slaughtered last night.

PM David Cameron, who urged a Remain vote, got shown the door by British voters.

Politicians on our side of The Pond who assume Americans don’t want change are in for a rude awakening.

Hillary and the Uniparty establishment are misreading the polls and it will cost them in November.

"Turn those machines back on! Turn those machines back on!" Traders believed what they wanted to believe and then went all in and built a bubble around it. Pop goes reality.

This is why we should not get all hang dog in June about generic push polls of Trump\Hillary. To a man, almost all the Brexit polls this weekend on said...”Nice try Brexit but not this time” Winded up really not being that close. You take out the Muslim loonbags in London and the vampire class is drug addled Glasgow and Edinburgh and it was a blowout. Trump will win in November, the call will be made by 11pm. Ohio, Pa, Florida and NC all will be Trump states.
