I SAY it is time for England to get rid of the Scots.

Let's keep some things in perspective:

• The conservatives in the UK are to the left of the US Democratic party -- they support gaymarriage, larger governments than we in the US would like, etc. etc.
• Labour are further left yes, but that doesn't make the "Conservatives" more like us, except in comparison -- otherwise we would disagree with much of what they say
• Scotland saw the EU as a way to break the dominance of England - hence the dismay
• England was and is globlist -- as befits a trading, mercantile state

Will England be better for Scotland going away? Slightly yes. They will lose the advantage of having the entire island for themselves. Also, since the Scots would join the Schengen, then there would need to be border controls between the two nations. But England may be slightly better off economically

An independent Scotland would fall somewhere between Venezuela and Cuba on the left-right continuum. It would be a Socialist hellhole. The first thing they’d do would be to expropriate Trump’s golf course.

England -- Britain, the UK, whatever you call it -- loses its permanent seat on the UN Security Council.

Maybe it's worth it. Maybe it's time to leave the UN as well.

But the loss of the last sign of world power status could be a blow.
