Small town life did have a drawback or two.
One of the problems I had was finding an interesting girl to date.
I was related to all the ones I cared to spend time with. :(
That meant I was related to half the county and knew the other half.
If I was to cut up, any adult was liable to snatch me up and take me home.
I learned accountability at a young age.
Believe me, someday Jr will thank you for it.
For me the big city was twenty five miles away. We only made it there, other than selling tobacco or wheat, a couple of times a year.
At that time my big city had about 25,000 people.
Times have changed, but not for the better.
