Rep. Gwen Moore, D-Wis., unveiled Thursday the Top 1% Accountability Act, which would require those claiming itemized deductions of more than $150,000 on their tax returns to submit to drug tests or file for less generous tax deductions.
The proposal is a shot across the bow at Republican governors in states, including Moore’s home state of Wisconsin, that require the recipients of certain welfare benefit programs to be drug tested in order to remain eligible to receive assistance.

This Congresswoman is grandstanding, BSing, or both. But now, she can get a spot at the NAALCP's podium.
I think she should be drug tested first.
Given that drug addiction is the reason why many of those welfare recipients remain on welfare, and that it is impossible for most people to become wealthy without having clear minds (some celebrities are an exception), her ridiculous attempt to equate the two classes is a sign that she may have a drug problem herself.
They should accept it as long as a section is added that if they pass, they are free from paying any state taxes for that year.

It is a stupid proposal but she is right in that you do not give up your constitutional rights when you accept government assistance. Republican governors pushing this rule have complete hatred and disdain of the US Constitution and are enemies of freedom.
Gwen Moore had a brain fart and thought she could some attention, she has.

More importantly, she should be subjected to a sanity evaluation. But then again, she “joins” that “illustrious group” of Idiot Black members of Congress. To wit: Sheila Jackson Lee, Hank (Guam is Capsizing) Johnson, Elijah (The lawn Jockey) Cummings, Alcee (the former Judge who was removed from the bench) Hastings, etc. If you added up their collective IQ’s, you couldn’t get to 100, to say nothing about the fact that they are all the biggest flock of racists on the face of the earth.
You give King Amabo too much credit. Americans have been dumb down through the educational system for some time. The fact is most Americans today have no idea what a blessing they had being here being taught we are evil because of success.
A few years ago, I was let go from my job in a corporate re-organization. I was given the option of receiving 6 months pay in exchange for a one year non-compete.
(A threat to litigate form my new employer at a competitor took care of the non-compete in 4 months)
But, it should be the same for welfare. If you are voluntarily taking a check on a monthly basis courtesy of the taxpayers, part of your voluntarily living on the backs of others is to obtain a drug test once a year, and to forfeit your vote.
If you don’t want to take a drug test and you wish to vote, you may choose to forego welfare. Simple as that.
Lawmakers? What the hell do they do all day? Someone tell these AH “lawmakers” we need less laws, not more.
There is a difference between a tax deduction and a tax credit, I think it’s beyond this congresswoman’s pay grade.
