Nobel Peace Prize winner and former Polish president Lech Wałęsa believes Germany should lead either a deeply reformed, or an entirely rebuilt EU, in the wake of a possible Brexit.
Wałęsas comments come as a series of opinion polls show a growing lead for the campaign rallying British voters to leave the 28-nation EU in a landmark referendum on June 23rd.
Germany in particular must calculate what would be better for development (of the EU): do we create a completely new organization or do we fix the old EU? Wałęsa told AFP during an interview in Gdańsk, the cradle of Polands 1980s anti-communist Solidarity movement.
Its up to the Germans to decide because they are the leaders and they must also decide with whom they want to build the new EU, he added.

Germany is already that. Thatcher pointed that out as far back as 1995.
I wonder by how much the current Merkel-led Muslim invasion is going to weaken German society and the ability to drive its economy. Real question.
Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.
Gosh, what a great idea. ;') Economically, Germany does lead the EU. Politically Germany leads it around by the nose, or tries to. Thanks Olog-hai.
“Polish statesman [Lech Walesa]”
Dude is not any statesman but an utter imbecile and commies’ agent.
