I keep saying, sodomy is an ACTIVITY.
A wedding—any wedding—is an ACTIVITY. The belief that combining these two activities is a good thing, is just that—a BELIEF.
My belief that it’s a bad thing, and my refusal to participate in ACTIVITIES that violate my conscience, is my inalienable right. It is NOT hatred for human beings, nor does refusal to participate in gay ACTIVITIES constitute violence.
Forcing Christians to change their beliefs to condone sodomistic activities and provide a cake for a gay wedding, is like forcing gays to recite the shahada and provide refreshments for a gay bashing.

Many of us have been saying this for a decade: the left has no unifying set of principles behind it. It’s just a coalition of special interest groups.
All anyone had to do is ask them if they were better off now than they were eight years ago, or even 30 years ago.
As for gays, while it is clear that they are better off from the standpoint of ‘rights’, anyone who suggests they are better off playing dead on the floor of a nightclub than taking aim behind the bar of that club and shooting back is crazy.
They have their rights already. If Trump pledges not to mess with those rights, they will vote against anyone suggesting they leave their ability to defend themselves up to the police.
Trump could win the gay vote.
As for blacks, the Mocha Messiah hasn’t done anything for them in eight years. Trump says he’ll put them to work.

I’ll tell you what this does mean - the GOP is officially dead. I mean dead. McConnell and Ryan pushing anti-gun legislation? I work here to see that is hopeful - something is happening - I sense it here in Santa Monica every weekday. The anti Trump tirades in the office the whole time have been very governed.
Its odd really only the American expats who have returned are still vocal. They've missed the last 20 years of the show and still using the late 90's play book with European embellishments.
Everybody else shuts up. A couple of women who are excited about Hillary (because she a women they are up front about it)but they pretty hard lefties and even they aren't super vocal.
If Hillary truly is polling better right now I am not too concerned because her support might be a mile wide but its an inch deep.

It will take some time, and God forbid there should be another attack like this upon them, but this terrorist attack on them and specifically targeting them has awakened some to the real danger to their community. It will take time for the rest to get the message that WE CHRISTIANS, TRUE CHRISTIANS are no danger to them. We may not like their chosen lifestyle, but we do not hate them and definite do not want to kill them.........................
Here again I differ from the narrative. I’m not at all sure this guy targeted it because it was a gay club. It was a club he knew thoroughly, including its proscriptions against guns. He had it cased thoroughly. That he went to it as a patron is besides the point.
I should have realized that given the masochistic, self-pitying nature of gay men, that they would embrace this event to their bosom like an old queen with a bootleg recording of Judy at The Palace.

Not sure if it had the hashtag, on lower side of it. But, it was the snake/rainbow flag. He looked at it, briefly. Couldn’t tell if he liked it, or just sort of disregarded.
You wonder if they'd had a false sense of security here, believing their fabulous President would never allow THEM to be touched.

He, himself, was most likely a closeted gay. It has been reported that he used gay dating sites and apps. A former classmate of his said he had been asked out by him. Hie ex wife speculated that he was gay as well.
He could not reconcile his gay self and his religious self, so he attacked the gay club, knowing it was a defenseless place and died a ‘hero’ martyr for Allah................
He’s a foreigner. He most likely didn’t know what it was or what it symbolized................
I disagree with that analysis - although I recognize the facts that you state. I’ve just reached a different conclusion.
As Mark Steyn pointed out, as you have, the victims this past weekend probably never bothered their pretty heads over middle eastern turmoil. Too boring when there is music to dance to and drugs to get high from. (I wonder if places like this are targeted because drunk and high patrons are easier to control.)
My great fear which is already being borne out, is that they will take the wrong message from this wakeup call.
