Inventions have consequences! I guess inventors forget about that. But what a silly argument this family is making.
Of course the brilliant author doesn’t go far enough. Were the 98 Mauser, the ‘03 Springfield, the M1, the Colt 1911, the Krag, the Mosin-Nagant, the Jap Arisaka, etc designed with the intention for them to be used by civilians. I know the answer, it is no.
It doesn’t have a damn thing to do with anything.
