Tonight I remember my long-gone grandfather and uncle from up Port Royal way in central Pennsylvania, who used to love to go hunting in the lovely mountain country there - how sad they’d no longer be appropriately represented by either of their senators....
Sad how things have changed for us that our grandparents were able to enjoy. We have hardly any rights that our previous generations have. And the politics....holy cow. Although in my Grandparents case, FDR was President during a good part of their lives. They were born in 1915 so they did vote at the time of FDR and I am not sure if they voted for him or the Republican......parties were so different back then.
