FBI knew since 2013 shooter linked to violent jihad
The Florida terrorist attack last weekend revealed multiple failures of Obama administration counterterrorism policies that critics say are hamstrung by liberal “political correctness.”
Security analysts said the attack exposed failures of the administration’s counterterrorism policies that were designed to separate Islam from the jihadist terrorism that continues to spread from the Middle East to Europe and now the United States.
The attack early Sunday by security guard Omar Mateen, 29, included a 911 call to police stating the mass shooting was conducted in support of the Islamic State terror group. A total of 49 people were killed at a crowded Orlando nightclub.
It was the worst mass shooting in American history and the deadliest terror attack since the September 11, 2001, strikes on New York City and Washington, D.C.
FBI Director James Comey defended the bureau despite the fact that agents first identified Mateen as a terror risk in May 2013 after a coworker alerted authorities that he had voiced sympathy for Islamic terrorists.
The tipoff showed that the Department of Homeland Security’s high-profile tip program, called “see something, say something” is not enough to prevent terrorist attacks.

The “See something, say something” advice clearly doesn’t apply to Muslims. People can see how the government acts vs what it says. After Obama’s unhinged rant today, it will get even worse. The Feds are as likely to investigate the tipster as the target. Comey defends what the FBI did and doesn’t think they would do anything different even after it was disclosed that the FBI knew what the killer said and that the file was closed because they concluded that his co-workers had anti-Muslim bias. I wouldn’t hold out much hope that a politicized FBI is going to make a criminal finding against Hillary, either,

I’ve read several articles on Homeland and FBI training that describe potential terrorists as strict constitutionalists, former military, tea party members and the like. But they don’t talk about the actual terrorists. If they study a Muslim shooting it was about everything except Islam. It is workplace violence or disgruntled workers.
I think that liberals are more threatened by tea partiers than Islamic fundamentalists who are making actual threats. I’m reminded of a cartoon depicting three cave men. A saber-toothed tiger is running towards them. Two men are running for their lives. The third has clasped his hands together in rapture and is saying, “What a beautiful animal!” The caption is, “Liberals: the early years.”
“failure” depends on the goal. My “success” could be Obama’s “failure (or vice-versa).

The RINO-controlled Congress has always had the constitutional authority to override presidential vetoes (1.7.2) and impeach and remove incompentent Obama from office.
But it seems like the media always letting Congress get away with not doing its job concerning Obama as much as the DOJ or FBI or whoever is not doing its job with Hillary.
