Add all of their friends, coworkers, families and other people who know that their group is next to be under the Dem ax and it might add up.

I’m not sure how or even when our culture went from it being a mental disorder to genetics.
I know about the efforts that have been ongoing since the 1960’s.
But it seems that, at some point in time and all of the sudden virtually every public institution embraced the genetics position. And it was no longer acceptable to suggest otherwise.
I was waiting for somebody to point that out. The Dems can steal any election with about 2 percentage points. Swinging most of a demographic would be nice, but in this case the numbers probably won’t matter that much.
100% agree. I feel bad for the few gay men I have met. I now know a teenager who appears to have become lesbian (perhaps just a phase). Certainly would never hate them, instead wish them the best of luck getting past it.

Every vote helps - especially in close elections. Additionally, breaking the Democrat union-liberal-gay-muslim-minorities coalition is important for the GOP’s electoral success.
Agree, BTTT. It amazes me how a few FReepers here are opposed to building a bigger winning coalition. Whether we like it or not, that’s how we achieve success in a democracy.
That said, building a unified front against Islam is not a Republican or Democratic issue but a fundamental requirement for the continued existence of Western societies.
It was not the NRA, it was not a Christian, it was not a Republican, it was not some idiotic talking head on some radio station. It was an avowed Muslim who went into the club with only one purpose. He succeeded in murdering those I identify with, those I call friends, those I call brothers ans sisters. Yet, today I am told by those I trusted that it was not whom we all know it was. I made a very important decision today, one that my friends an family will be shocked about. Today I decided to never again support the Democrat party. Why? Why would an avowed and proud homosexual leave the party to support Donald Trump? It's because at a time when the gay community needed them the most, they have turned their back on us. As a lifetime Democrat, I have always voted and fought for the candidate who espoused my beliefs and defended my rights as a homosexual. I even voted for Hillary over Sanders in our primary. However, a apiece of my heart died this past weekend when a Muslim entered the pulse nightclub in Orlando with the expressed purpose of killing gay people. Not since Sept 11, 2001 has America been attacked in such a hateful way. Since the attack, the Democrat party, including Clinton and Obama, have been doing everything they can to blame everyone and everything but the people responsible for the attack.Sure, but the Republicans are the ones who oppose gay marriage!!! And that's JUST AS BAD!!! /sarc
The Democrats are against the continued existence of Western societies. Republicans are sort of, apologetically for it, but are ready to apologize up front and not do anything about it. You are right, it's not a Republican or Democratic issue.

When I was young, my gay cousin taught me to play guitar. He also taught me to draw and was one of the coolest human beings around.

True. But they are enormously overrepresented in the media and entertainment. They often are very well off and donate to political campaigns.

I was unaware of the money aspect, but that megaphone is very very big, especially when one considers the high percentage of LGBT’s involved in Hollywood and the media, and all the influence they have upon MILLIONS of low information voters.
Won’t happen. The perverts will vote 98% democrap just like they always do. The rats gave them homo marriage, allowed them same-sex adoption of kids, access to same-sex recruits in the military, special rights, diversity rights, and access to schools for “teaching” purposes.
