It appears to me that this bar was chosen for a particular reason or reasons. I’ve read that it’s not an especially popular bar, so there would have been more prominent targets. Maybe it was scouted and chosen due to weak security, lack of usable emergency exits? It’s still curious to me that the shooter traveled 120 miles to do this in Orlando. Maybe his accomplice was there?
One report said he was scouting out DisneyWorld. Perhaps that looked more complicated so he decided on a gay bar instead. Who knows?
You make no sense. It’s very popular. 320 people were inside. But if it weren’t, why would that mean “more prominent targets”?? Sheesh.
I think it was chosen because of the “Latino night” decor. Since the killers looked so much like most of the patrons, they stood a better chance of getting near the entrance loaded down with weapons.
