Lone Wolf terrorism is a concept designed to make Americans stupid. There is no such thing, bluntly stated Marine Corps University professor Sebastian Gorka on Fox News, moments before President Obama addressed the nation about the Orlando terror attack that killed at least 50 people.
One of the nations top Middle East experts told WND there is a much more informative phrase to describe the kind of terrorist who committed the worst mass murder in U.S. history early Sunday morning at gay night club: individual jihadist.
WND asked Clare Lopez: Would you say theres no such thing as a lone wolf?
I wouldnt say that, because it would just confuse people who have come to know what the expression is intended to mean, she explained.
I would just never use that term, ever. Ever, ever. I would rather say this is a case of individual jihad, because thats an actual doctrine in Islam. I dont want people to wonder what Im talking about, so I would rather just explain what it really is. It is individual jihad that is a doctrine in Islam.
She observed that just because such terrorists are individuals doesnt mean they are acting in a vacuum.

Yahoo News, the most blatantly liberal web news site, and also the largest, used lone wolf in a headline yesterday.
He was a “KNOWN” wolf! The FBI KNEW him, and did NOTHING!
Not a Lone Wolf, but a KNOWN Wolf. h/t Mark Steyn.
Very informative, thanks for posting.
Listening to Comet relative this this, don’t expect a Hilary indictment.
I know they are lying when they cry “lone wolf”.
Isn’t ‘lone wolf’ a code for something we should be worried about?????
They have cried ‘lone wolf’ one time too many.
The Boy Who Cried “Lone Wolf”.
This only means that every single, individual muslim is a potential mass-murdering jihadi. The quran does command muslims to kill unbelievers and those not in compliance with mohammedan ways. They do not need orders from ISIS.

Lone wolf my ass.
This comes from the asshole who never once sent an email to his Sec of state from 2008-2012 .clintonmail
Why hasn’t anyone asked the lyin king that question?
Piss be upon them all.
From the far left fringe to the gay murderer: “You didn’t build that”.
They are right.
The gay murderer needed Obama to make sure the FBI wouldn’t come down on him too hard before he worked up the nerve to kill unarmed men, the mainstream media to keep his associates from giving law enforcement too strong a warning, and the moron club patron who held the exit door closed in case the people trying to escape included the gay murderer. It was a team effort.
There are some obvious loose ends in the official account of the Orlando attacker as a lone wolf. For example, how did Omar Mateen travel to Orlando while leaving his car in Ft. Pierce? How did he pay for his recent weapons purchases? How and why did Mateen pick The Pulse as his target instead of other possible targets, such as a nearby WalMart? Did someone act as a spotter to assess the vulnerability of The Pulse and the size of the crowd? Perhaps the FBI and local law enforcement authorities will pause in their rounds of long, self-congratulatory, preening press conferences to do some investigative work.
... That is precisely what this muslim murder was.
By definition -- from their own Koran -- all muslims are "incipient jihadists"...
Now somebody else remembers somebody being called a "lone wolf" who acts entirely on his own, not inspired by any group or ideology whatsoever -- somebody like the Colorado theater killer -- and takes objection to the phrase "lone wolf." In other words, they're coming at the question from a different direction and thinking of more than two different possibilities.
Terrorism is defined as politically motivated violence. You don't have terrorism without some ideology, and the odds are strong that it's an ideology that the terrorist shares with others.
The next question is whether the terrorist acts on orders from higher up or on his own initiative. In that sense "lone wolf" terrorism is an understandable and useful term.
People know what it means and don't assume that the killer acts without political motivation, just that he's not directly ordered to commit violence because he's an official member of a group. You could call it "home grown terrorism," except that the same people who object to "lone wolf" would object to that.
People who commit violent acts without political motivation -- because they want Jodie Foster's attention or because they like killing people or because the voices in their head told them to do it -- aren't by the usual definition terrorists and considering them as such goes against the definition of terrorism.
