This time it’s Paris that will show solidarity with the victims of a terror attack elsewhere in the world.
The Eiffel Tower will be lit up in the rainbow colors of the gay flag in solidarity with the victims of the shootings in Orlando, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo tweeted.
The City Hall also raised the Stars and Stripes and the rainbow flag on Monday, with Hidalgo expressing her “compassion, solidarity and affection” for the American people after the massacre. …

For ten years the Eiffel Tower was the world’s largest advertisement with the name “CITROEN” emblazoned vertically at night.
It guided Charles Lindbergh in to Paris from 100 miles out.
If anything, shouldn’t it be lit in red,white and blue? But I guess being a homo is more important.
The Frogs couldn’t find their white flag, so this will have to do for now. Maybe a few stuffed animals dropped off outside the US embassy will satisfy the urge to pretend to do something.
It took about three weeks after 9-11 for the America haters to come out of hiding and start blaming us. So, mark it down - outrage fatigue will dissipate by July 4 and everybody can get back to their Smartphone game apps. On second thought, since the victims were members of a protected class, give it an extra week. This could all change if the media figures out a way to blame Republicans.
I would say red, white and blue as well. It was about Americans - they happened to target homosexual Americans this time, but they hate the military, Hollywood, and every other infidel. This is about their hate of the west, not homosexuals.
This is ridiculous. Muslims are killing folks faster than the French can change the light bulbs.

When it comes to the “West,” and its own suicidal tendencies, whether trashing its own history and heritage, all while promoting and celebrating both diversity and moral decadence, or importing Muzzie psychos to lay waste to everything it once attained as a civilization, there’s still apparently ONE thing that it seems to truly value these days, and that is its modern culture of homosex.
That’s the only reason I can see the “West” willing to fight for at this point. To fight not for the preservation of civilization, but to fight to preserve its own rancid degeneracy. It’s pathetic.

And to further add, all that lighting up with the rainbow colors further stresses for me that this was not an attack against MY country nor MY America. Those lights and the media memes define it as a “muzzie versus homo” fight, and in that fight, I’m standing by the sidelines.
Actually Omar Mateen had in the past expressed strong anti-gay views. The club was a specific target. Also no indication yet that he was acting on anybody’s orders or directions - he was most likely self-radicalized, not taking orders from Isis central. In lighting the Eiffel Tower with the rainbow flag the French are expressing sympathy to a community that has suffered a loss. These were brothers, sons, friends. For fifty dead there are thousands grieving. At a time like this I think we can all tone it down and have a heart.
