With the Bilderberg 2016 meeting now humming along at the Taschenbergpalais hotel in Dresden, deep behind closed doors and protected by heavily-armed guards, many have wondered: just how hyperbolic are allegations that the Bilderbergs run the world.

To help readers decide, here is a chart laying out the linkages and various connections - financial, political, statutory and otherwise - between the handful of people who comprise the Bilderberg core and the rest of the world.

I don’t know much about them but a bunch of the world’s most powerful and wealthy people meeting in secret pretty much defines, conspiracy.

Probably wouldn’t weep too much if any of them disappeared.

Figures a Hapsburg would be in the mix. When your family rules a good portion of the world for close to 900 years, you just don’t slink away never to be heard from again because the peasants rose up and tossed you out.

I’m having a hard time believing that chart. William Buckley is in it - must be a seance. And George Schultz who’s 97?

Here’s a list that’s probably more accurate.

The person who made the chart most like Girl Scout cookies, they didn’t make the chart so they most be a good organization, unfortunately the Boy Scouts made the chart so they most be evil, maybe they need to start selling cookies too. (sarcasm alert)

I see no real conservatives on that list but a lot of “journalist”.

What the hell is Peggy Noonan doing there?

What does it mean to have a line connecting a Bilderberg person with a corporation? That the Bilderberg person is an investor in that corporation? All that means is that they keep diverse portfolios: one Bilderberg person creating their own Dow Stock Index portfolio (why waste money on a mutual fund if you have the cash?) and you’ve drawn that entire chart.

Example: British politician Kenneth Clarke seems to be connected to Ford. What is the relationship, if not mere investor?

Trying to find other ones where I’m pretty certain which loci are connected to which lines, Frank McKenna is connected to Bank of Montreal, the only connection to BM. But McKenna is really connected to TD (Toronto Dominion), a BM competitor. That makes him obviously hugely influential, but why is BM shown, not TD. Sloppy?

(I’d argue TD is much more noteworthy a bank to US folks.)
