The Iphone thing is another one. I have a clam shell phone. It is really all I want and need (debatable). However, everyone seems to have Iphones, even McDonald’s workers and people who clearly do not make the type of money I make. For me to get one, it would raise my phone bill up 20 dollars or so. I can afford it, but how can someone who makes 1/4 of what I make, afford it?
Yep - a .049 cylinder to boot (for those who were ever into model airplanes).
The Dems just make up numbers as they go along. How would anyone be able to measure who has been looking for work? How many weeks, what type of jobs, etc... Other than people filing for unemployment there is no way to indicate who is looking for work.
While the jobs report can show how many are working the non working people are not counted. I am tired of hearing about “people who have given up looking for work”. That is BS. The younger adults who have never had a steady job(on the books) are looking for work and are not counted. Some take years to find a job. Most places make you apply online and you never hear back. I am sure there is no government system to track applications for jobs.
The debt was doubled so Obama, Clintons, Reid, et al... can continue to steal from the Government at will. They will stop at nothing to win this election. They are raking in $Billons and thunbing their noses at the American people.
Washington Post story was one third right...Americans are spending more of their paychecks, but not because they are getting more....just paying more for it.
I would say the economic status is more like a starter trying to grab a flywheel without a single cog that has not broken off.
I have a TeeDee .010
Neat - 30,000 rpm to boot -- must sound like a supercharged mosquito.
Haven't been into it for decades but still remember the smell of the fuel burning and the high pitch whine - brings back fond memories of when Dad got me involved in it. More happy memories as he got me trained/involved in shooting/reloading, etc., but one of the nicer memories.
