7 Dead, 32 Wounded In Weekend Shootings Across Chicago

Seven people were killed and at least 32 others were wounded in shootings across the city between Friday evening and Monday morning.

Most recently, a man was killed and a woman was injured early Monday in a South Loop shooting.

The 23-year-old woman and 27-year-old man were in a vehicle about 4 a.m. when two people walked up, one of whom pulled out a gun and opened fire.

POs wife was stabbed on the west end of 008 during a robbery on the street on Archer Ave. A group of roving animals, males and female Hispanics from little village tried to rob her and one stabbed her in the abdomen for resisting. Several offenders were arrested after they were found up on 23rd Street. Seems moments before trying to kill this officer's wife the same Hispanic crew came through and robbed another female about a block or two away and that victim got a plate.
