If the Russians are bringing in the spetsnaz, they're not screwing around anymore. It's getting real.

If I were ISIS, I’d be getting the hell out of Dodge.

The entire Turkish navy vs 3 Spetsnaz (that we can see). Not a fair fight.
I wonder if a Russian nuclear sub was right underneath the deceptive looking Russian rustbucket?

The Turks might prevail against two Spetsnaz, but three?
I suspect you're right about a boomer accompanying the rust bucket.

They're cut off everywhere.
The ONLY place they have to go is Mosul. And the battle for Mosul will rival the battle of Okinawa.
I can envision 50,000 artillery rounds falling on Mosul, along with 20,000 rockets.
It's the only answer.

I’d throw in a tactical nuke just to make it interesting.

Ok, I'll bite. Why is Spetsnaz taking the slow boat through the Bosphorus when they have Ilyushins?
To: Robert DeLong
Interesting tho too long to read it all.
Do the Russians have a new handgun design? Those do not look like standard Russian models. For that matter, the rifles look different too.
