LOS ANGELES (AP) - Police on Thursday identified the man they say carried out a murder-suicide that took the life of an engineering professor at UCLA.
The shooter was Mainak Sarkar, said Officer Jenny Houser, a city police spokeswoman. Sarkar is listed on a UCLA website as a member of a computational biomechanics research group run by the victim, a professor of biomechanical engineering.

After awhile of getting professionally ‘stabbed’ by these H1b engineers, you learn who to trust and how to stay clear of.

Took the words right out of my mind. As I am a woman they hated reporting to me. I had to check all their code and make them re do it if it did not meet my published standards. They didn’t like me at all. And really were disrespectful. I had one that would take personal telephone calls while I was meeting with him. But to be fair, two of them have since sontacted and told me how much they learned from me.
I am finding Indian students to be as bad as any snowflake. Their younger generations are just as lost.
