Franchi's fantastic voice made him a mega-star---but the voice as stilled...hen he died from brain cancer.
Some thirty seven years after his death, his albums still chart.
Those chiseled features (sigh).
I have chiseled features, Liz, chiseled from Play Dough.

What a beautiful arrangement. I assumed that this was a recent recording and was thrilled that there are musicians who still know how to create great music without using electric guitars, loud drums and computerized gee-whizzery—but then I noticed that it dates from 1965.
The Lord's Prayer--John Charles Thomas (1935)
ell....do you look like Sergio?
Just beautiful....does sound a lot like Sergio’s arrangement.
Core ‘ngrato (Ungrateful Heart) composed for Caruso.....and most Italian tenors recorded it.
But Sergio’s renditon is just amazing.

He use to be on the Mike Douglas Show all the time. His sister Dana Valery, who was also a singer, would sometimes appear with him on the show.
I love his voice to this day. Beautiful tenor.
Yes. But add about 100# to that picture. Give me your private contact information that I might help with your needs. ;-)
Love love love it-—Bocelli and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
The David Hitman Foster arrangement (he played the organ) is thrilling......from the Christmas program...aired on PBS.
Bocelli and Mary K Blige also did Child is This beautifully.
You’re a riot....a regular riot.
Sergio as also quite religious....on his estate in Conn, he has his on chapel....Mrs F still lives there.
In one foray into politics, Sergio’s appearances raised 600,000 for a pro-life candidate.
Every year, they hold a memorial concert on his estate....thousands attend from all over.
I'll be 63 in August, had bilateral inguinal repairs from a female surgeon last week, and my balls are blue!
