1988 was a barn-burner year for climate alarmists. Then-Sen. Al Gore’s steamy congressional hearing trumpeted a planet on fire, and the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) was created to produce pseudo-scientific evidence blaming it on unfair capitalist industrial prosperity-spawned CO2 emissions.
Canadian Environment Minister Christine Stewart explained the real cause for urgency. She told editors and reporters of the Calgary Herald, “No matter if the science of global warming is all phony . . . climate change [provides] the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.”
Stewart was wrong. Consequences of that phony science upon environmental and energy regulatory policies matter a great deal. So let’s consider some inconvenient facts.

My all-time favorite climate change fraud is the one that goes:
Global warming is causing the sea level to rise on North America’s east coast.
Nowhere else. Doesn’t take much knowledge of basic physics to know that water seeks its own level and sea level is the same over the entire planet give or take due to minor gravitational and tidal variations.
But sea level rising on ONE side of a continent, and not on the opposing side of Africa, Europe, England, South America?
Plate tectonics. It’s a thing. And it’s still ongoing, unlike “anthropogenic global warming” which is contrived and as disproven as President Obeyme’s social security number.
Climate researchers keep readjusting downward the historical record so current temperatures appear to be warming.
AGW is supposedly science, but you can’t replicate most of the results, so the experiments are by definition ascientific.
There must be thousands!
One of the glaring proofs that the Climate Change Scam is a lie is the fact that the politicians who hope to gain even more power seek to jail those that disagree with the hoax. A 100% sure sign that they do NOT believe that their weak theories can stand up to the truth.

I’ve always laughed at those bobble head reporters claiming global warming say in Phoenix when two states away the temps unseasonably plummeted.

Not in the old fashioned, outdated Science of the past that held to the antiquated notion of truth, facts, and the horse and buggy idea of the recently rubbished Scientific Method.
Here’s “the real reason!” “Justice and Equality?” No, it’s really “control of the world’s population by the elete Marxists/Statists.”

It was always about “justice and equality in the world.” These people obsess over taking money from those who earn it and giving it to those who don’t.
Show me one recommended solution to Global Warming that involves more free markets and less government intervention.

The East Coast steadily moves left which causes the sea level to rise. The West Coast is also moving left, which pushes the sea water across the Pacific and is drowning Asia.
An example of this is the possibility that Guam might capsize.
And they can’t even get that right.
These are recently invented social terms not scientific terms.

The three facts that prove it for me are Leonardo Dicaprio’s yacht, Al Gore’s house, and 0bama’s vacation jets and motorcades. If they all really believed this scam was real, they wouldn’t live like they do.
But.....but.....but.....all that matters is that they’re using their fame to bring awareness, don’cha know?
The whole goal of global warming is global rationing. Read the Euro, especially British, blogs about this. Even when they write about China’s excesses in skyrocketing resource consumption and industrial production (and attendant pollution) they always, ALWAYS have to reference the United States per capita consumption of energy. Then they argue how our per capita consumption must be reined in.
It’s all about a world government establishing your ration of resources. And don’t forget, the “elite” and their useful mouthpieces, such as 0bama, Al Gore, and Leonardo DiCaprio, will all be exempt from the ration limitations.
People who have things rationed to them are not free.
This I believe, 100%.
