She’s contributed to society about as much as the Hilton sisters have.
how many poor trees have to die
Chelsea writing a chldrens' book is not a bad thing. Most first time authors in this market, however, do not get advances, though the rules are a bit different from celebrities. We really do need to know what the advance is. Penguin Random House surely does not think that Chelsea is enough of a celebrity to drive sales.
That’s no way to talk about the 46th president of the United States.
They should save time and just put it in the $1 dollar book bin. It won’t even be worth $1.
This is EXACTLY what Trump and Sanders voters are pissed off about. The Clintons get into government and they take advantage of money for political influence to enrich their friends, relatives and cronies. Nobody....NOBODY...would give Chelsea Clinton a book “deal” if she weren’t politically connected. Nobody.
“Building on her popularity as an NBC News correspondent....” This really cracked me up. Popularity? HUH? I’m so sorry I missed that part of her career. LOL!
I see coffee tables in liebral households and readers sucking the Kool-aid.
President Trump needs to put a team of 20 FBI investigators on the Clinton Foundation full-time.
“”President Trump needs to put a team of 20 FBI investigators on the Clinton Foundation full-time””
I think for the first time, the foundation(s) are getting looked at and possibly only because of Clinton’s SOS links/donations/favors back to the foundation. If that hadn’t happened, would anyone bother to take a second look?
I want to see some actual work done for the dough they take in. Their various websites are glorious but pretty much boiler plate. Where’s the action and the results?
What, you don't see the wonderful job they've done in Haiti?
Probably ghostwritten like Hillary’s books - https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/who-wrote-that-political-memoir-no-who-actually-wrote-it/2014/06/09/8e89ccae-f00a-11e3-9ebc-2ee6f81ed217_story.html
I wonder if she will talk at all about how she called the Secret Service agents detailed to protect her (and who would have given their lives to save hers) “Trained Pigs”.
And I wonder if she will tell in her book, how, when asked by the Secret Service agent who admonished her and said that her parents would be disappointed to hear her say that, said “I don’t think so. That’s what they call you.”
Will she talk about THAT in her book, I wonder?
Kendall and Kylie Jenner, the Kardashians’ half-sisters, have also “written a book.”
She should be in prison along with her parents for the Clinton Crime Family Slush Fund!! And MAYBE she will be!
Not!
Hell not!
(Maybe when it hits the .25 cent bin at Goodwill...maybe.)
They tell aspiring authors to write what they know. In her case that would be nepotism, bribery, and a sense of entitlement bordering on the Divine Right Of Kings. I'm sure her readers would be delighted to learn the secrets of scoring an entry-level "consulting" position for six figures straight out of college. I would too. If she gives a chapter to her husband, it could include how to lose $25 million of investor money on (snicker!) Greek bonds and still make a killing on administrative fees. Lots to teach, those two.
20th Century - "It Takes A Village To Raise A Child"
21st Century - "It Takes A (Clinton)Child To Raze A Village"
The more important question, will it be gentle on my buttons like Charmin?
Oh, yes, the third step in the money laundering process: integration. The ill-gotten gains are passed on to the personal accounts of the perpetrators in a fashion to disguise their true source. Getting a huge royalty for a book that never gets published or is published in small numbers with limited distribution is a perfect example of integration.
