Sorry, but my outrage bin is full.
If the people at Virginia Citizens Defense League were stupid enough to think they would get “Fair and
Balanced” reporting from any member of the media, they deserve what they get.
I cannot for the life understand what they think they can accomplish by talking to ANYONE in the media, especially Katie Couric.

Most conservative grassroots organizations don’t have the sort of media budget that the gope and it’s enablers have. So they’re pretty much stuck with what they can generate on their own. And in the real world that requires dealing with the leftmedia to a certain extent.
And guess what? It usually works. Every once in a blue moon the leftmedia pulls a fast one. Or tries to. That’s one of the reasons why organizations like VCDL record interviews on their own.
So, what happened here? VCDL took a risk. They got snookered in the short run. But they win in the long run. They’ve already gotten far more positive publicity from this than they would have ever gotten if katie and her twits had simply done a fair interview. And their expensive piece of left propaganda is discredited from the start. Not a bad outcome all in all.
