It actually has a black community - Oak Bluffs, I believe. It's a tiny island, ok, not exactly Mikanos, but full of rich fat cats who will pay for the Obamas lifestyle into perpetuity.

Oak Bluffs is indeed a black enclave on Martha’s Vineyard. Many,many well to do black professionals summer there. While visiting the Island, a few years ago, I went on a house tour,with some friends, which was hosted by the women of the local church. All of the homes were owned by blacks and one was more spectacular than the next.
