Reps. Joe Kennedy III (D-Mass.) and Bobby Scott (D-Va.) introduced the Do No Harm Act Wednesday, which would amend the 1993 Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) to specify that religious exceptions should not apply to protections against discrimination or the promotion of equal opportunity and access to, information about, referrals for, provision of, or coverage for, any health care item or service.
The legislation is intended to clarify that no one can seek religious exemption from laws guaranteeing fundamental civil and legal rights.

They want to force Catholics and other Christians to perform abortions.

Isa 10:1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;
This is what can start the killing.
How perfectly Satanic.

There I changed health care to LEGAL, now I support it.
But leave it to liberals to paint themselves as the victims, when in fact they're the offenders.
Do No Harm Act. I love how liberals hide the true meaning behind a false title. The Let’s kill Those Babies Act is what it should be called.
The original Hippocratic oath prohibited abortions.
Christians try to keep Democrats from killing their babies, and Democrats are doing everything they can to have their way. For a Democrat, killing their babies is a civil right, and Christians are the enemy.
They’ll kill their own, and insist on indoctrinating yours.
“”Reps. Joe Kennedy III (D-Mass.)””
Is that bastard back on Congress??? Or am I thinking of someone else??
How about some of our “staunch conservatives” in the House introducing a No Religious Persecution Act, that forbids the government from infringing upon religious freedom in any legislation of the federal government or its agencies? We are waiting ...
> They want to force Catholics and other Christians to perform abortions.
Exactly.
Thinking this through ... The first part of this quotation would then make it legal to discriminate against or deny promotion on the basis of objection to something called "health care items or service".
Since sterilizations or abortions are not health CARE services, they would not apply here.
But what is the definition of a "health care item"? Is that a contraceptive or abortifacient device?
Boehner and Ryan will line up behind this. /no sarc
“Fundamental civil and legal rights” are not mentioned in the Constitution. Religious rights are.
“Since sterilizations or abortions are not health CARE services, they would not apply here.”
They are considered Health Care Services by the government and they would apply here.
But they’re not. It’s simply a bastardization of language. They treat no illness or disease and do not promote health of already normally functioning organs. They are not health care. Someone has simply co-opted the language.
Liberal logic. Force someone to violate their rights for the rights of another......
