We vets got loads of laughter from the allegation that Bush’s reserve record was incomplete and thus fraudulent. Johnny, EVERYONE’s reserve service record is incomplete. When I turned 60 and went to the reserve base to apply for my military retirement after 28 years in the service as an officer, the computer system reported that I had been discharged as a seaman apprentice in 1985 after 17 years of service. Took a while to get it straightened out.

The 'tone' in DC is phonies riding pollsters... Can Hilary take down Trump in a debate? Maybe. Not by herself. Once the left has a narrative, any evidence that contradicts it is seen as a lie. The stronger the evidence, the more of a threat it is, so the more vile a lie it is considered.
There are so many many examples of this. From the failed AGW narrative to the failed narrative of Trayvon Martin to the failed narrative of socialism being a good idea to the failed narrative of violent cultures just needing to be treated nicely to cause world peace. It is almost the defining characteristic of being a leftist.

Trump exudes leadership and winning on the campaign trail. Hillary, on the other hand, has loser written all over her.
The leftists always characterize the effort that way to avoid reporting the more devastating charge -- that Kerry worked hand-in-hand with Vietnamese communist leaders to spread phony anti-US war crimes propaganda. His efforts poisoned the reputations of American troops and helped to enable the communist genocide in Southeast Asia.
That's what makes him a "war hero" to the other side.
