This was the year when Republicans had everything going for them, politically-speaking, in the 2016 presidential election.
On every level, economically, fiscally, socially, America is in a lot worse shape under Barack Obama's debt-ridden, inept presidency. And his party's frontrunner is offering us four more years of the same.
Poverty is up. Violent crime is up. The middle class is shrinking. Businesses, especially factories and retail, are in trouble. The economy is barely growing. People are hurting.
The Gallup Poll this week found that only 36 percent of U.S. adults say the economy is "getting better," while 60 percent say it is "getting worse."
Despite Obama's boast in a commencement address at Rutgers University Sunday that life in the U.S. has never been better, the truth is that Americans have grown "more pessimistic" about our country's future over the past year or more, Gallup says.
He said college graduation rates are up, but in the past seven-plus years many graduates have had trouble finding a full-time, good paying job.
He said crime rates were down, but violent crimes have shot through the roof, and, according to one government report, homicides are way up this year in more than two dozen major cities.
In Chicago, homicides were up 70 percent. In Dallas, 73.1 percent. Long Beach, Calif., 126 percent. Las Vegas,
81.8 percent, Newark, 60 percent, to name only a few.
Obama may be comfortable sugar-coating life in the U.S. and living in his own little dream world about falling crime rates, but not his FBI Director James B. Comey.

He is SO WRONG and this is WHY one Donald J. Trump has gained so much support in so short time.
Obama is a destroyer. He wants you to know nothing except the moment. And then he plants the things he wants you to know that are important. No past, no history, no connection to American greatness, sacrifice, or liberty.
Obama is the one who’s never had it so good. He and the Wookie live like lottery winners off the taxpayer’s dime.

I hear this from all the liberals that Obama is doing a good job. I want to smack them sometimes because We are worse off now then we were when W ran things. So many of my friends have lost their homes and jobs, so many people suffering, America at the mercy of Iran and Islamists and illegal aliens and these dimwitted filthy Pieces of excrement have the audacity to say Obama is doing a good job. Especially after hearing for 8 years how bad Bush was.
I just want to punch these people in the face for saying that. I'd go to jail for a long time with added sentence since its a liberal but its nice to know I can.

If your goal is to send America to hell in a hand-basket because you hate America, then you will rejoice when you think you see America going to hell in a hand-basket. Our Enemy in Chief never had it so good, but it will be short lived. His presidency will remain under a cloud of infamy and his intended effects hopefully will be completely eradicated, while his unintended effects, the American People taking their country back, will hopefully be long lasting.

One has to be terribly insulated not to see that by virtually every measure things are decidedly worse under Ødungo....or a terrible liar. I don’t know of a single family in my circle that doesn’t have at least one member out of work.

I don’t care how conservative a writer might be...as another poster said on another thread we need to stop regarding Gallup as the oracle of truth, especially when they push-poll, use simplistic questions and rely on the ignorant, bored and lazy as respondents.
His legacy will be an equivalent to that of sewage sludge.
The elephant in the room is that they are graduating with useless majors like queer theory and gender studies. Who would pay for that "knowledge?" But hey, it's a lot easier than engineering or computer science and gives you plenty of time to be outraged and protest things.
