Washington (CNN)John Kasich signaled Monday that he still harbors deep uneasiness with Donald Trump as the Republican nominee, declining to endorse him and reiterating that he will not serve as Trump's vice president.

Even now that he's left the race, Kasich is resisting calls to serve as Trump's No. 2, portraying his pitch and Trump's as fundamentally incompatible. Kasich said he was "not inclined" to run with Trump and that he had "not changed my mind."

Good. Hopefully his sentiments won't change.

Trump hardly hit Kasich at all. Why is he refusing to endorse Trump when he signed a pledge to do so

I am humbled and disheartened at the same time. I once thought well of this man, especially in the heyday of the Contract with America and its implications. He was a congressman of whom I saw, read about and even felt some kinship with.

I fully realize now that this was all kabuki - an act. One of abject evil duplicity. He his in the end nothing more than just another lying establishment player.

Trump hardly hit Kasich at all. Why is he refusing to endorse Trump when he signed a pledge to do so?

Because he is not a man of his word, which pretty much makes him worthless.

If Trump chose Kasich, that would make me VERY uneasy:

- Kasich supported and implemented Obamacare’s Medicare expansion http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/john-kasich-bible-medicaid_us_56140a54e4b022a4ce5fb1e3

- Kasich enthusiastically supports Amnesty for illegals. http://www.ontheissues.org/John_Kasich.htm

- Kasich voted for the Assault Weapons Ban. https://grabien.com/file.php?id=53463 and as of last year did not regret that vote

- Kasich dismissively said Christian bakers should “bake the cupcake” and participate in a gay parody of the sacrament of marriage, even if it violates their religious beliefs. https://www.frcaction.org/updatearticle/20160225/kasich-pushes

- Kasich supports Obama’s nominee for the Supreme Court. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/john-kasich-id-consider-nominating-merrick-garland-supreme-court-election-2016/

Kaisch must not realize that it is actually Paul (the godfather) Ryan whose wields the hand that must be kissed in subjection and submission by Trump if he has any hope to succeed. Screw the voters.

I suggest Kasich exit stage left and allow the premiere act, Trump, to have the stage.

Was he even asked. Maybe he should go and join the renegades. Despite being in the race way long than Rubio, he still has less delegates and the loser thinks that people like what he is saying. He would fit right in with them.
